Cromwood Housing Ltd awarded £13,491,361 by Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities to tackle rough sleeping
It is with great excitement and pride that we announce that Cromwood Housing Ltd has been allocated the largest amount of grant funding by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, under its Rough Sleeping Accommodation Programme 2021-24. The announcement was updated on the government website on 11th February 2022.
This is the second time we have been awarded the largest grant allocation under the government’s Rough Sleeping Accommodation Programme (RSAP).
Last year we were awarded £8.1m under RSAP; we used the grant allocation to leverage in £19.5m of private investment. With the funding we were able to purchase 135 one bed properties in London and housed individuals sleeping rough on the streets of London.
With the new round of funding we will be able to purchase a further 140 properties using our unique public-private funding partnership model; we have already agreed, in principle, terms with an investor.
