Producing more homes resurrecting empty properties

Cromwood Housing Group features prominently in a special report by national magazine Inside Housing looking at who is behind the UK’s growing number of for-profit housing providers.

The article highlights Cromwood’s role in providing homes for rough sleepers and homeless families with chief executive Moses Hirschler and executive director Kevin Murphy explaining the organisation’s important contribution to the sector.

They describe how the organisation’s strong ethos, values and burgeoning reputation for delivery have attracted public and private investment and enabled Cromwood to quickly bring forward homes for those most in need.

In the article, key partner Thames Reach praised the way Cromwood works, saying: “Cromwood have been very responsive to the need to develop new stock and services in response to new needs. They worked very quickly to develop a scheme under the Rough Sleeping Accommodation Programme during the pandemic. Other providers were working on a much longer timeframe.”
