In order to serve the London social housing market better, we believe that we need to be in a position to acquire and develop our own portfolio of properties as well as manage private landlords’ properties. This will allow us to work more closely with local authorities in London.

Our overall aim under Cromwood Development is to explore opportunities that will produce multiple units of accommodation through the development of land with planning permission, conversion of commercial buildings and refurbishment of derelict, neglected buildings.

We actively source and identify development opportunities for the purpose of creating homes for social housing. Areas we generally look at are:

  • Land for development
  • Commercial buildings to convert into homes
  • Old/derelict buildings to transform into homes

We have in a place a dedicated team with over 15 years’ experience who specialise in the appraisal of each opportunity presented to us. Often landlords and investors are looking to work in partnership with us with a view to maximising the investment opportunity.
